The IEEE Region 8 and IEEE Kenya Section are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the 2023 IEEE Africon Conference.

IEEE AFRICON 2023 is co-sponsored by IEEE Region 8 and the IEEE Kenya Section and is the flagship conference for the African continent. It will be held in Kenya, on 20th – 22nd September 2023 under the theme “Advancing Technology in Africa Towards Presence on the Global Stage”.

 

Full Papers

Manuscripts should be of mature results or completed projects, at most Six (6) pages maximum in IEEE two-column format, and must be submitted in PDF format via the Conference paper submission website.
Paper submissions should include results that have not previously been published and should not be simultaneously submitted to another conference.

 

 

Short Papers

Short papers – targeting Industry players, practitioners, policymakers, and private sector actors – interim results, experiences, and perspectives and should be up to 3 pages in length including a short reference section. Industry players, practitioners, policymakers, and private sector actors are encouraged to share best practices, case studies, and perspectives from practice in the field.

Please note that the paper submission deadline is the 15th of march 2023.

All submissions received by the deadline will be assigned for reviews.
