IEEE Day’s theme is: “Leveraging Technology for a Better Tomorrow”. While the world benefits from what’s new, IEEE focuses on what’s next.
IEEE Day can be characterized as the most favorite event of all IEEE members Globally, especially students. During this day we celebrate the first time in history when engineers worldwide and IEEE members gathered to share their technical ideas in 1884.
IEEE Day inspires all members, to think out of the box ideas to celebrate this special day. Every year, more and more events are being held around the world, sharing the enthusiasm of IEEE members, through special activities that are taking place. Two main contests run every year. The photo and video contest of the IEEE Day, are the main focus of each member, bringing interesting and artistic ideas on the table.
The celebration of IEEE Day on 1 October 2019. However, this year’s celebration, is an anniversary of IEEE Day with the celebration beginning from Saturday, September 28, 2019 to Sunday, October 13, 2019.
